AWAK intends to procure the services of a qualified and experienced professional external
auditor to offer external audit services for the financial years ending 31st December 2024.
The objectives of the services required will be for the auditor to confirm that:

1.  The books of accounts provide the basis for preparation and that they are
   established to reflect the financial statements.
2.  AWAK maintains adequate internal controls and supporting documentation for
   its transactions.
3. Express a professional opinion on the financial statements of AWAK and if the
   statements present fairly the financial position at the end of each financial year.
4. The financial statements are prepared in accordance with accounting principles
   standards and all relevant laws and regulations

Job Summary

AWAK is seeking a firm/individual to provide internal audit services, assist in risk assessment and recommend necessary strategies and processes. The Consultant will be required to provide
independent consulting and assurance services covering all areas of our operations. The main objectives are to identify, assess and mitigate any risks as well as develop and maintain
a strong internal control environment of the systems and operations. The successful bidder will provide AWAK with an independent appraisal of the adequacy and effectiveness of its systems of
internal administrative, and accounting controls and programmes and determine the financial integrity, value, efficiency and effectiveness of the operations per the established standards and
best practices.
