About the Conference

Sustainable governance in the Public Sector involves the adoption of policies and practices that ensure the effective, efficient, and equitable use of resources to meet current and future needs. Economic globalization, social inequality, resource scarcity, and demographic change, cut across sectors and extend beyond national boundaries, and require policymakers to adapt rapidly and learn from the examples of others. Ideally, this requires a balance between economic, social, and environmental considerations. However, economic uncertainty poses significant challenges to achieving this balance. Public sector organizations must find innovative ways to manage limited resources, address rising public demands, and adapt to rapidly changing conditions.

The Public Finance Management Conference seeks to interrogate the government policies, structures and the necessary actions required to foster sustainable economic growth amid uncertain demographic, social and economic challenges. We will share examine challenges, discuss options for solutions, share best practices and encourage dialogue and partnerships between the attendees.
